Our Story

Where pearl tea in America began

In 1997, Fantasia became the first pearl tea shop in the United States — bringing boba to American shores before it was a household name. Nearly three decades later, we're still perfecting our recipes, from creamy milk teas with house-made tapioca pearls to vibrant fruit teas with real, local ingredients.

We also serve oak wood roasted coffee for the espresso lovers, but tea is where our heart is. Every cup starts with imported loose leaf teas, fresh fruits from local markets, and quality ingredients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Many teas, especially green teas, have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. They also contain other substances that have been linked to a lower risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and possibly cardiovascular disease.

We brew real tea leaves. Our whole, loose-leaf teas are only brewed once to create the intense flavor. We use premium Ceylon Black Tea and White Tip Jasmine Green Tea as well as a caffeine-free herbal tea, the Hibiscus Tea.

All of our milk teas are made with high-end non-dairy creamer to give them a rich, creamy texture that enhances the tea flavor. We also offer many teas with no creamer or dairy using only our Ceylon Black Tea or Jasmine Green Tea base. These include the fruit teas such as the Fresh Grapefruit Jasmine Tea, the Sunset Teas, and most of the Frosted Delights.

Fantasia offers many caffeine-free options. We have drinks that are already caffeine-free such as the Muddy Okinawa Fresh Milk, Taro Fresh Milk, and Honey Hibiscus as well as our Frosted Delights and Grass Jelly combos. Most of the teas can be substituted with decaf green tea, milk, or water. We also offer decaf espresso drinks.
