Founded in 2005, Drum Revolution is an electrifying taiko ensemble based in the San Francisco Bay Area, known for blending traditional Japanese taiko drumming with modern, innovative rhythms and choreography. Drum Revolution has grown into one of the largest taiko groups in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering classes and workshops in six locations: Emeryville, Millbrae, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Milpitas, and Los Gatos. The group performs all over the Bay Area, with major appearances at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival, the Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival, the Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival, for the Oakland Earthquakes, at the Rugby World Cup Sevens, and for various festivals, firms, schools, and cities across the Bay Area.
